Maya – 39 Steps ist ein graphic-novel game. Das Spiel wurde beim non-linear adaprion Projekt am Cologne Game Lab entwickelt. Das Spiel basiert auf der Novelle Die 39 Stufen von John Buchan aus dem Jahr 1915.

Story

Der Maya Kalender, einer der genauesten der Welt, endet 2012 und mit ihm womöglich auch die Welt. Richard McBuchan, ein Archäologie Assistent überrascht eines Nachts einen Einbrecher im Museum. Das Objekt der Begierde für den Dieb ist ein Maya-Artefakt welches der Schlüssel zum weiterführen des Kalenders ist. Um die Welt zu retten muss Richard das Rätsel lösen.

Maya – 39 Steps is a graphic novel game. This game was developed during the non linear adaption project at the cologne game lab. It is a loose adaptation of the novel The 39Steps by John Buchan from 1915.

Story

2012 the Mayan Calender, one of the most exact calender will stop. Richard McBuchan, an assistant Archeologist, surprises late at night a burglar in the museum. The object of desire for the burglar is a mayan artefact which might be the key to continue the calender. To save the world Richard has to solve the puzzle of the calender.
